Assassin's Creed Jade new gameplay trailer

Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade has finally gotten an official name and a new trailer that shows off more details about the upcoming mobile title. As a part of the Level Infinite Showcase at Gamescom, the company showcased some more about what players can expect to see.

The official name is now Assassin’s Creed Jade and the game is set in ancient China, with the trailer showcasing a lot of stealth, parkour, and all-out action. Assassin’s Creed Jade is now the second Assassin’s Creed title to be set in China, after Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.

Assassin’s Creed Jade is a mobile title that will be available on iOS and Android devices. There have been some Assassin’s Creed games on mobile before, including a now-delisted one called Assassin’s Creed Identity.

Although it is a mobile title, based on the trailer, Jade actually looks like quite an impressive Assassin’s Creed game with interesting combat and great visuals.

If you missed the first closed beta for Assassin’s Creed Jade, you will still have another chance to try it out in the second closed beta. Level Infinite announced that it will take place “soon.” Registration is now open over on Assassin’s Creed Jade’s official website.

Assassin’s Creed Jade was originally announced back in 2022 during a Ubisoft Forward live stream where information had also been revealed about Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Codename Red. Assassin’s Creed Jade will allow players to actually fully customize their character, which is something that isn’t typically available in other Assassin’s Creed games.

There is currently no official release date for Assassin’s Creed Jade, but it’s probably not going to be too far out.
