Naraka: Bladepoint is going free-to-play this month

Naraka: Bladepoint, the melee battle royale game, is going free-to-play nearly two years after it first launched. The 60-player PVP game was previously an Xbox exclusive as well, but it is now being ported over to PlayStation with this announcement.

On July 13, the battle royale will be available for free to download on PC, Xbox, and PS5. Additionally, “new content, features and updates” are going to be coming to the game. This includes things like a 12v12 mode called Capture The Spirit Well, a new Dual Halberd weapon, and even PS5 exclusive items. A new hero named Tessa will be joining the roster as well.

If you did buy Naraka: Bladepoint at some point in the last couple of years, you’ll also get gold in the game equivalent to what edition you currently own. There are also some other rewards for veteran players.

Naraka: Bladepoint was also available through Xbox Game Pass while it was a paid title, but it will now be a free-to-play title, which explains why it is leaving Xbox Game Pass this month.

Naraka: Bladepoint was in the news earlier this year for hosting a crossover with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
