Disney has been giving Star Wars some massive boosts this year, exciting many Star Wars fans.

Announcements such as Disney+’s hit series, The Mandalorian, fourth season, to Star Wars: Andor’s first trailer. But another announcement on the rise is definitely going to make even the most excited fan jump out of their seat, as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be getting its own show at some point, according to The Direct.

In fact, the show will be focused on the game’s main protagonist, Cal Kestis. Tv personality Jack Harloff explained the announcement on his YouTube page recently.

“Have to say that, rumour rumour, not confirmed. But, got this from somebody that I’ve trusted in the past, heard things in the past, tells me this is a thing. The rumour itself, at the moment, ladies and gentlemen,” he stated. “The popular character of Cal Kestis, who you know was played by Cameron Monaghan […], rumour is that there’s a Cal Kestis show in the works for Disney Plus. “

“The rumour is that [Cameron Monaghan] actually signed on to play the character from Jedi: Fallen Order in a live-action series for Disney+. There’s no production dates set, but my source tells me that this is happening.”

If the rumor does turn out to be true, it would make perfect timing with the franchise’s newest game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which is coming out in 2023. The game also focuses on Kestis as its main protagonist. You can watch the trailer down below.

It’s also been discovered that the newest installment in the series will, in fact, take place during the timeframe of Disney’s newest Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, which might make for an exciting plot focus in the show, if it turns out to be true.

Unfortunatley for now however, it is still just a rumor.
