Amazon Luna will let Prime members play their owned Ubisoft PC games

Amazon Luna and Ubisoft have been close partners since the cloud gaming service launched in 2020. And now, you can play Ubisoft games you already own on PC through Luna.

Basically, all you need is an active Amazon Prime or Luna+ membership to do so. You will also need a set of linked Amazon Luna and Ubisoft Connect accounts. After you get these things done, you can play whatever Ubisoft games you own wherever Amazon Luna is available. This includes Fire TV devices, Chromebooks, and smartphones.

There’s also some news for Stadia players who owned Ubisoft games on the Google platform: A Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed that Stadia users will be able to transfer their games to PC. Now, with Luna, any Stadia owner will be able to play those games again.

There are many compatible titles that include some of Ubisoft’s best-selling and best-known games. This includes games like Watch Dogs: Legion, Riders Republic, and pretty much every single Assassin’s Creed game. There will also be some older titles like Child of Light.

What is Amazon Luna?

If you’re not entirely sure what Amazon Luna is, it’s basically just a subscription service by Amazon that lets you play games through the cloud.

Cloud gaming has been rising in popularity lately, with other companies like Nvidia releasing their own services as well. However, Google’s Stadia service did not last and will be shutting down in January 2023. You can watch our analysis video on why Google Stadia shut down below:

So, if you’re looking to play some Ubisoft games on Amazon Luna, you can do that starting today.
