Far Cry 6 is getting a GOTY edition

Far Cry 6 wasn’t a bad game by any means, but could we really stack it up against masterpieces like Elden Ring and the like that came out this year? Plus, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 just around the corner, it’s hard to say that Far Cry 6 can really stack up against these titles.

Either way, Ubisoft has decided to release a Game of The Year Edition for Far Cry 6 that will cost an upwards of $120. It includes some extra content, such as an unannounced expansion called Lost Between Worlds, alongside some DLC and cosmetics.

It also comes with the Season Pass, 3 DLC episodes, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon Classic Edition, and three cosmetics packs: The Vice Pack, The Croc Hunter Pack, and the Jungle Expedition Pack.

Far Cry 6 has been receiving some weekly missions that rotate for free, allowing players to get some new action every now and then. Plus, the DLC episodes provide some more interesting content about previous Far Cry villains like Joseph Seed, Vaas and Pagan Min.

It may seem strange for there to be a $120 price tag on the game, but I suppose when you add up the components, it does balance to at least that figure. Either way, Far Cry 6 is worth a playthrough. If you enjoyed any of the other Far Cry games, you probably won’t really feel a difference in your experience.

I personally enjoyed Far Cry 5 more, but once again, that’s a personal preference. You may like Far Cry 6 much more, and if you want to try it, you can buy it at these places below:
