Production on the Fallout series is set to begin this year.
Long time fans of the Fallout franchise won’t have to imagine it anymore. As video games become more and more prominent, propelled by none other than the infamous pandemic, we’re finally getting more video game-based TV shows.
The most famous in recent years has been The Witcher over on Netflix. Now, Fallout is going to be joining the lineup.
The director is set to be Jonathon Nolan, who is also the co-creator of HBO’s Westworld. No word has been given on the cast and crew thus far, but we expect that we’ll probably receive updates as the year goes on.
Fallout is an RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world where fallout from nuclear radiation has rendered good portions of Earth nearly uninhabitable. Bethesda acquired the series in 2007, and the popularity of it has shot up since. One of the most famous titles is Fallout: New Vegas, with their most recent addition being Fallout 76.
Needless to say, fans of the RPG should definitely be looking forward to this one.
