Ezra Miller has been involved in a number of controversies recently and Warner Bros. is considering scrapping The Flash movie that was set to release later. Now, Miller has issued an apology for the recent behavior and controversy.

In a report by Variety, Miller confirmed that they are suffering “complex mental health issues.”

“Having recently undergone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive4 stage in my life.”

Earlier this month, Miller was charged with felony burglary, and was recently accused of abuse and assault. A restraining order was filed against the 29-year-old actor over allegations of grooming minors.

Miller recently abruptly deleted their Instagram account and had essentially vanished from the public eye. Warner Bros. Discovery has stayed silent on the issue, but is reportedly preparing for multiple scenarios in regards to The Flash.

One of the scenarios includes a release of The Flash, but with limited press. The requirement would be for Ezra Miller to seek professional help.

There is speculation that Warner Bros. may be planning on releasing the film after Miller’s apology was released. However, nothing has been fully confirmed yet. There were lots of online discussions buzzing after Batgirl was canceled, with many fans asking why Warner Bros. was still keeping The Flash on its roster for release, but not Batgirl.
