Star Wars: Ahsoka is the upcoming live-action Star Wars Disney+ show that will tell the story of fan-favorite Ahsoka. Ezra Bridger from Star Wars: Rebels is reportedly making a comeback and will be played by Eman Esfandi. The news was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.
Star Wars: Rebels saw Ezra’s first appearance in the Star Wars universe lore, and followed the story of a group of rebels throughout the galaxy as they contended with foes. The group constantly faced off against formidable enemies like the evil empire and Darth Vader. Unfortunately, we may not see Ezra outside of Ahsoka, as there will not be a Star Wars Rebels: Season 5.
Not much is known about the plot of Star Wars: Ahsoka, but it is expected to tell the story of Ahsoka’s quest to track down former Imperial commander, Admiral Thrawn. For Star Wars fans, it’s sure to be an exciting project, however.
Star Wars: Ahsoka is being developed by Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau. It’s possible that with the return of Ezra Bridger, more Rebels characters will probably be making an appearance in future Star Wars shows.
Ahsoka will be played by Rosario Dawson, the same actress who played her character in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. She was originally voiced by Ashley Eckstein in the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series.
Dawson also confirmed that she wants to make a return to the MCU in the upcoming Daredevil series, Daredevil: Born Again. She played Claire Temple in the Netflix series.
