CBS’ hit show Entertainment Tonight has won their eighth Daytime Emmy Award at the 49th annual award ceremony earlier this week.

The show’s hosts Kevin Frazer and Nischelle Turner were the ones to host the event, but they also walked away with an award on behalf of the show for Outstanding Entertainment News Program. The hosts took home a similar award last weekend for Outstanding Daytime Promotional Announcement following the release of their season 41 promo.

The show has been around since the 1980’s making it the longest entertainment news program in the world (they’ve even won a Guinness World Record for it!!). Their 42nd season will begin airing in mid-September.

The awards ceremony took place at the Pasadena Civic Center, and will be streamed on Paramount+. Among the list of winning shows came Jeoprady!, Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo, Turning the Tables with Robin Roberts, and General Hospital.
