Released in 1985, Kate Bush’s song ‘Running up that Hill’, one of the world’s most popular songs, has been made even more popular recently following the release of Stranger Things 4, which utilized the song in an intense scene.

Stranger Things 4 has seen the largest English-opening for any Netflix series in history following its series debut back in May. ‘Running up that hill’ has, as a result, seen similar success (unlike its series counterparts like ‘Master of Puppets’ by Metallica).

The song shot up on the musical charts and garnered well over 100 million YouTube views since then. As the new show’s hype continues to go up, so too will the music video’s views.

Stranger Things 4 has been a series in the making for about three years now, as part of one of modern television’s biggest shows. Fans are already anticipating a series 5!

Matt Duffer, the show’s co-creator, told Collider: “It depends who you ask. That’s what we’re still figuring out. If you ask our AD, and our line producer, they want more time for production. Our post-production supervisor wants more time for post-production. So it’s going to be a big discussion. How long does everybody get? Here’s the thing, the more you shorten production, the more you shorten post production, the more things get compromised.”

“It’s just the balance of, ‘Okay, how much are we willing to compromise to get the show out sooner? Is it more important to give everybody the time that they need to get this right, without being indulgent?’ I’m sure we’ll figure out what that line is, but my whole thing was I was never super worried.”
