Being a celebrity, while glamorous, can definitely be hard at times. The constant work, stress, and paparazzi mayhem probably make the job much, much more difficult and with the rise of the internet, stars really don’t get a break.

But sometimes, celebrities can be straight jerks. So here are five of the strangest celebrity freakouts ever, and sometimes, they seem kinda justified…

1. Alec Baldwin, 2011

Back in December of 2011 famous actor, Alec Baldwin, was kicked off of an American Airlines flight after getting into an argument with a flight attendant. Apparently, he was refusing to turn off his phone when asked, and after he refused to comply, he was removed from the plane.

He tweeted out about the ordeal later that day stating: “Flight attendant on American [Airlines] reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving.” He would also poke fun at the situation during an SNL sketch afterwards.

2. Britney Spears, 2007

On the strange night of February 26th, 2007, pop star Britney Spears would shave off her hair at a salon in Tarzana California and proceed to attack a paparrazi’s car with a green umbrella, later explaining why she did what she did on her website.

“I was preparing my character for a role in a movie where the husband never plays his part so they switch places accidentally. I take all my roles very seriously and got a little carried away. Unfortunately I didn’t get the part.”

3. Nicolas Cage, 2011

Back in April of 2011, while on a vacation in New Orleans, famous actor Nicolas Cage was arrested on charges of domestic abuse, public drunkenness, and disturbing the peace after he fought with his wife Alice Kim. He was released on an $11,000 bail shortly afterwards.

4. Christina Aguilera, 2011

Music star Christina Aguilera was arrested back in March of 2011 after being drunk in public in Los Angeles. Her fiance Matthew Rutler was arrested shortly afterwards after driving under the influence of alcohol, and was released on a $5000 bail.

5. Kanye West, 2016

Kanye West came under some internet controversy back in 2016 after a backstage rant was leaked, following SNL’s February 17th show.

“Look at that s**t, they took my f**kin’ stage off SNL without asking me,” he irately proclaimed. “Now I’m bummed. That and Taylor Swift. Fake *ss. Now we’re gonna do this. We’re breaking the motherf**king Internet.”
