Zoolander, the ridiculous and silly 2001 comedy from Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, and Will Farrell has suddenly caught people’s interest again. Zoolander has been recently trending suddenly thanks to a viral TikTok trend that seemed to catch on fast.

As you can tell, in this scene, Zoolander gets into a staring contest of sorts with Hansel. The clip suddenly became a trend all over TikTok, with people even recreating the scene with siblings and friends.
Since then, it’s sparked even more memes of clips from Zoolander, which have been absolutely hilarious to watch as well. It feels like the trend just kinda came out of nowhere very suddenly, but it’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Every time I open TikTok, I’m greeted with one of these (no complaints) and they’re funny every time.

I think I could sit here all day posting clips from TikTok about this meme. If you want to go watch all of them, you can do that by heading to TikTok and just searching up “Zoolander meme.” I really recommend you do this next time you’ve got a few minutes, because it’s genuinely hilarious.
I still wonder who started it and how it caught on, but with all the insanely bizarre scenes in that movie, I can understand why.
