Capcom reveals Street Fighter 6 Open Beta coming soon

Capcom has announced that Street Fighter 6 is going to be getting an open beta later this month. The open beta will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC players.

As revealed in a recently posted trailer, the Street Fighter 6 open beta will be running from Friday, May 19 to Sunday, May 21. Crossplay support will be available for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam. The beta will allow for players to choose between eight fighters: Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Juri, Kimberly, Guile, Ryu, and Ken.

The Street Fighter 6 open beta will also have multiple modes to test. This includes Ranked, Casual, Battle Hub, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, and Training.

Street Fighter 6 has already held two closed betas, but this is the first time that Capcom will be letting all prospective players get a chance to check out the highly anticipated title.

Street Fighter is a popular fighting series by Capcom and it’s often been compared to Mortal Kombat in the past. However, even if you’re not used to the fighter genre, give the open beta a whirl! It’s got plenty of content to go through for one weekend for sure.
