One-Punch Man is coming back for a Season 3

One-Punch Man is coming back for a Season 3, nearly three years after the second season.

As reported by Crunchyroll, One-Punch Man TV anime confirmed on Thursday that a third season of the show will be going into production. A key visual drawn by character designer Chikashi Kubota was posted along with the announcement. The artwork shows Saitama and Garou, but it doesn’t seem to indicate what we can expect to see in Season 3.

One-Punch Man was created by Japanese artist ONE and tells the story of Saitama, a powerful superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch. Bored by winning all the time, Saitama heads on a quest to find someone who can actually provide him with a challenge.

One-Punch Man originally debuted as a webcomic in 2009 and then joined the magazine Shueisha’s Young Jump Next in 2012.

Since the release of the manga, One-Punch Man has become a beloved and popular anime and has gotten several video game adaptations, including One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows.

Season 2 of One-Punch Man premiered in 2019.
