Netflix’s October lineup is shaking up, and it’s going to be losing one of the best anime ever made. Death Note, the anime series about a bored teenager who gets his hands on a notebook that kills people and goes on a murderous rampage of criminals in the hopes of becoming a god, is going to be making an exit from Netflix on October 15.
If you haven’t watched it yet, I recommend watching it right now because you still have time before it leaves Netflix. Personally, I’ve seen it probably four times by now, so yes, it’s worth a watch for sure.
Death Note isn’t the only anime leaving Netflix. Here’s everything else heading out on October 15:
- Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I — The Egg of the King
- Berserk: The Golden Age Arc II – The Battle for Doldrey
- Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III – The Advent
- Bleach The Movie: Fade to Black
- Vampire Knight (Season 1)
Why These Titles?
It looks like the aforementioned anime are leaving Netflix as a part of a deal with Nippon TV.
Food Wars is also leaving, but a bit earlier than October 15.
