Head of Marvel Kevin Feige unveiled that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be seeing two more Avengers films coming out in 2025 at this year’s comic-con.

The two films will be the conclusion to Marvel’s Phase 6.

The announcement came from Hall H, during 2022’s Comic-Con, where it was revealed that fans will be able to see their favorite superheroes on screen again during May and November of 2025.

The new films, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars will be coming out on May fifth and November 7th, respectively. The two movies, which will hit theaters only months apart, will be the end of Phase 6 of the MCU.

It was also announced that Phase 6 would begin on November 8th of 2024, with a new Fantastic 4 movie.

The Kang Dynasty will tell the story of a time-traveler named ‘Kang,’ who will be played by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor Jonathon Majors.

It’s a bizarre twist for many Marvel fans who suspected that Avengers: Endgame would be the Avengers franchise’s end. The first movie in the series came out over ten years ago, and it was the first sign of the MCU’s existence. It made over one billion dollars, the first time in Marvel’s movie history, and so the studio continued with the series.

Alongside the new Avengers films however, Marvel also showed the first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel to 2018’s Black Panther.

May fifth will be seeing an all-new Guardians of the Galaxy film, volume 3, which will be the final one in the franchise.

“They’ve saved the universe a few times, but really what they do is save each other,” director James Gunn teary stated during the announcement.
