Jared Leto has been reportedly cast as the most recent celebrity to play in Disney’s The Haunted Mansion.
Leto, who starred in Morbius and Suicide Squad, has been rumored to play a character known as ‘The Hatbox ghost,’ who appears at the Disneyland attraction based on the story.
In fact, the movie will not be a remake of the 2003 film but rather an adaptation of the attraction at Disneyland.
The movie will be produced by Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who are known for their work in Disney’s live-action remake of Aladdin. They’ll be working alongside executive producer Nick Reynolds, scriptwriter Katie Dippold, and director Justin Simien.
As for the cast, Leto, if he actually is casted, will be playing alongside Owen Wilson, Tiffany Haddish, Danny DeVito, LaKeith Stanfield, and Rosario Dawson, an impressive list.
The movie will be premiering at cinemas on March 10, 2023.
