The producer behind ‘Indiana Jones 5’, Frank Marshall, has released details on his newest film, coming out in 2023. The movie will be the first Indiana Jones film in almost 15 years and audiences are excited for it.

Marshall has been the name behind two of the series’ films and the executive producer behind another two. ‘Indiana Jones 5’ will differ from the norm however, as the director will switch hands to James Mangold, the one behind Ford V Ferrari. George Lucas will also not be the one behind the film’s plotline, although we barely know anything about that aspect of it yet.

When it comes to the movie’s cast, the only one that’s been truly confirmed so far is Harrison Ford, although there is a high chance of John Rhys-Davies returning as well. In terms of new cast members, audiences will be seeing Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Olivier Richters, and Antonia Banderas.

Marshall has been growing hype for the film. He told A.Frame during an interview:

It’s a great story, it’s a great character, and I think you’re going to be very happy with this movie. It’s everything I think that everybody wants out of an Indiana Jones movie.

The film has been in production for years now, so we hope the film actually stands up to the hype Marshall’s created.
