The makers of the widely popular Genshin Impact have announced a new action RPG title: Zenless Zone Zero. Its style moves away from Genshin Impact’s fantasy world and instead takes on a more grunge and urban setting. Multiple playable characters were revealed in the announcement trailer as well.

Zenless Zone Zero has been currently announced for PC and mobile platforms. miHoYo stated that more platform announcements will follow, but it isn’t sure when that exactly is. Currently, Zenless Zone Zero is in its beta testing phase.

There was no detail given on if Zenless Zone Zero would also be a ‘gatcha’ game (free-to-play with monetization in-game through character unlocks). However, most assume that the current model will be the same, given just how successful Genshin Impact was.
