Footage of an unannounced PlayStation shooter has reportedly leaked online

Footage from what appears to be an unannounced shooter for the PlayStation has appeared online. It looks like it is a sci-fi third-person shooter that is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.

Although the clip is short, it shows a character walking towards a balcony with a creature is visible in the frame as it climbs up the side of a building.

A notable leaker named DuskGolem claimed that they have seen “a lot more of the game,” and that the footage that has leaked is from an older build.

DuskGolem wrote that: “While obviously I can’t say if this will come out or not, I’ll mention I personally have seen a lot more of this game, and more recent stuff of this game than this clip. NOT THIS CLIP, but the game itself beyond this clip is at least at a point currently the game is fully voice acted, music composed specifically for it, been far more fine tuned than this clip.

“I just am looking forward to it eventually getting announced on my side and the devs properly showing it off.”

Claims state that XDEV is working on the game alongside an unknown external studio.

So far, it looks like not much is known about this mystery shooter. It is entirely possible that this unannounced shooter is part of a broader strategy by Sony to begin introducing more live-service games.
