Cyberpunk 2077 modders have now added flying cars

Cyberpunk 2077 put a heavy emphasis on the cars and all the classes of vehicles players can get accustomed to during the trailer previews. However, what Cyberpunk 2077 did not include were flying cars, which to some, was a bit shocking.

There are cutscenes in which flying cars are included, but none that a player can just hop into and try to fly for themselves. Even an older game like Grand Theft Auto has flying cars in it, so it seemed to many players that the lack of them in Cyberpunk was a bit strange.

However, modders have come to the rescue to bring flying cars to the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077. In a mod called “Let There be Flight,” hovercars are inserted into the game. These hovercars come equipped with thrusters, unique engine sounds, and custom movement controls.

If you’d like to take a look at it, download it from this link here. It has already been out for two weeks, with plans to expand it even further.

In general, modders have filled in much of the gaps left that could have added to the atmosphere of Cyberpunk 2077. Unfortunately though, console players can’t experience all of these unique community additions.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to have major DLC updates this year, but we have yet to see what’s to come. The recent console patch has been a genuinely great addition, and has made my Series X version run much smoother than it did before. Graphically and mechanically, it’s much better now.

Of course, you still get your occasional bug, but the bugs have largely been dealt with. I don’t know how the last-gen players are faring, but if you really want a new next-gen console, check out the links below:
