Microsoft has now officially confirmed the branding for the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family plan branding, as well as its initial price and some more details. Not too long ago, an image of the branding for the plan had leaked on Twitter, but now it has been confirmed by Microsoft.

In Colombia and Ireland, webpages for the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family plan have gone live, and the prices start at 21.99 euros/month in Ireland and $49,990 COP/month in Colombia.

The DZSH Group reported earlier this year that Microsoft would be moving forward with a family plan for its popular Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Microsoft confirmed the plans in August 2022, adding that the plans had entered testing in Ireland and Colombia.

The plan allows up to five people to join on one subscription account. All users on the account can enjoy the benefits of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, including Xbox Live Gold and EA Play. Check out our full review and thoughts on all tiers of Xbox Game Pass.

In the official FAQ, Microsoft stated the following regarding what players with existing subscriptions can do when upgrading to the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family plan:

  • 30 days of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will turn into 18 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
  • 30 days of Xbox Game Pass will turn into 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
  • 30 days of PC Game Pass will turn into 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
  • 30 days of Xbox Live Gold will turn into 12 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family
  • 30 days of EA Play will turn into 6 days of Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family

Microsoft has not given an exact timeline on when the service will be available to U.S. consumers, but that it may enter testing in other regions as time passes.
