Game Pass is getting a family subscription soon

Microsoft’s popular gaming subscription service, Xbox Game Pass, will be receiving a new family plan tier later this year. The family plan will reportedly allow five users to access one subscription. Previously, each user had to have their own subscription.

Windows Central says that the subscription would be under a single account holder, similar to the way Netflix is structured with its profiles system under one payer. They also reported that the new plan would use Microsoft’s Family Account System.

Currently, no details have been released regarding the pricing or if there will be separate plans for PC and console.
