Both Naughty Dog and HBO have confirmed that the TV show adaptation of The Last of Us will be premiering on January 15, 2023.
The series also got a poster reveal that shows Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) walking in a run-down, post-apocalyptic city.
On November 1, leaks revealed the January 15 premiere date through the HBO Max app, website and promotional materials in the UK. However, now the leaks have been officially confirmed.
Season 1 of The Last of Us will feature 10 episodes and it looks like the events covered will be from the first game. However, it has been confirmed that some episodes will deviate from the game.
