Netflix has revealed the first 8 minutes of the highly anticipated Season 4 of Stranger Things one week ahead of the official release.
Netflix has announced that there will be two volumes for Season 4, with seven of the nine episodes releasing May 27 in volume 1. Volume 2 will release on July 1 with the last two episodes.

Each episode runtime is longer than in the previous seasons, with most running for approximately 75 minutes and Episode 7 running for 98 minutes. Episode 8 will run 85 minutes. Leaks reveal that the season finale’s runtime will be nearly 2.5 hours long.
Due to the length of Season 2, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer wrote a letter explaining that season 2 will be two parts in order to get the show to fans as soon as possible.
“Given the unprecedented length, and to get it to you as soon as possible, Season 4 will be released in two volumes. Volume One will release on May 27; Volume Two will release five weeks later on July 1. So that’s the good news. IT’s coming soon. And it’s better than ever. IT’s also the beginning of the end.”
The intensely popular Netflix series stars a group of citizens in a town called Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s as they grapple with supernatural occurrences and phenomena from a different dimension called the Upside Down.
