Spider-Man Freshman Year is coming in 2024

Marvel Studios put out a tweet about the new Spider-Man show coming to Disney+. During San Diego Comic Con 2022, more information was revealed about the new Spider-Man: Freshman Year and that it will release in 2024. Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is also going to make an appearance in the series.

Spider-Man: Freshman Year is set to be the next installment in the Marvel animated shows, but will not have Tom Holland reprise his role as the web-slinger.

Daredevil’s announced appearance in Spider-Man: Freshman Year comes after another announcement that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onforio would be reprising their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin in the next live-action Disney+ series.

Daredevil has already made himself known in the Spider-Man universe after a brief (but welcome) cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

No trailer was revealed during the panel, but many details were given instead. Dr. Otto Octavius, Chameleon, Speed Demon, Scorpion, and Butane the Pyromaniac are villains set to make an appearance in Spider-Man: Freshman Year. Harry Osborn and Amadeus Cho will also be appearing in the series.

Season 2 of Spider-Man: Freshman Year is also set to be titled “Sophomore Year,” and will focus on Peter Parker’s sophomore year of high school.
