Playstation users, get ready to be disappointed by the company’s new PC Streaming app, which has not only disabled but full-on omitted some of the console’s classic games.
Many of the titles displayed on the streaming service are displayed incorrectly, making them impossible to access by users. How could something like this happen? Well, ask Sony not us.
A large portion of the PS1, PS2, and PS4 games on the platform are listed as PS3 games, causing them to completely seize loading. Popular, big-name titles like Spiderman: Miles Morales and Tekken 2 have been affected by this error. Alongside this, all PS1 and 2 titles have been affected.
Other games like Red Dead Redemption 2 aren’t even on the app to begin with, confusing many fans who assumed they’d be migrated over from console.
As things stand Sony has not addressed the bug, and no one is sure when they will.
A number of games are also missing completely from the PC app, including Resident Evil Director’s Cut, Devil May Cry 4, Infamous 2, Red Dead Redemption 2, and more – all of which are available on console.
