Resident Evil Village VR demo at TGS 2022

Capcom announced that the PlayStation VR2 version of Resident Evil Village will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2022. The event runs from September 15 to September 18 in Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

Players will have a chance to play a part of the game in Castle Dimitrescu and experience “ultimate immersion.” Users who play the demo during TGS 2022 will also get a Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil Village 4 punched pocket, while supplies last.

The VR mode is only available for the PlayStation 5 and was previously announced during Sony’s State of Play showcase in June.

Additionally as a demo at TGS will be Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Participants will receive a special shampoo and conditioner set from Clear, which is collaborating with the game. People who clear the quest surrounding Flaming Espinas will also get a limited edition sticker. If you go further and post about your thoughts on social media, you’ll get a muffler towel.

No word has been given on when the PlayStation VR2 version of Resident Evil Village releases, but the Gold Edition which includes updates to the Mercenaries mode, a third-person mode for the campaign, and the Shadows of Rose DLC is set to release on October 28.
