Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater to reuse original voice lines

Konami has confirmed that its upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, will reuse the original voices. No new voice lines are set to be recorded, so whatever dialogue you remember from the 2004 version is what you’re going to hear in the remake.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was announced during the PlayStation Showcase last week. It was also revealed that the game would include the original voice actors, but the actors will not be recording any new dialogue.

Hideo Kojima is also not involved in this remake. Kojima, known for his games like Death Stranding, is the creator of the Metal Gear series.

Konami is not going to be updating or changing the story either. Some fans have questioned if the remake actually has any effort put into it, but others are pleased that the dialogue and story will not be changing from the original. Which side of this are you on?

Currently, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. There is currently no release date. It is set to be a full remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, which was released on the PS2 back in 2004.
