Netflix Games sees less than 1.7 million daily users, which is less than one percent of its subscriber base interacting with the service. Although Netflix boasts a decent number of mobile games, CNBC found that of Netflix’s 221 million subscribers, barely touch them.

Apptopia, the app tracking group whose data CNBC obtained, found that Netflix’s mobile games have been downloaded 22.3 million times since Netflix announced its entrance to the mobile gaming sphere back in November 2021. Since the announcement, Netflix has added over two dozen titles including a League of Legends spinoff called Hextech Mayhem, a strategy title called Into the Breach, and more. It is also planning on adding a game based on The Queen’s Gambit, a Netflix original series.

Netflix wants to offer at least 50 games total by the end of 2022, and has even acquired three indie game studios to help meet the goal. Game downloads have been growing–albeit slowly–over the past year.

Netflix’s mobile games are available to Android users through Netflix’s own app or the Google Play Store. Apple requires Netflix to direct users on Apple devices to the App Store for downloads.
