Jurassic World Dominion has earned over $600 million globally, getting fifth place at the Box Office in just two weeks. Although critics have highly scrutinized the film, as is tradition at this point, the audience clearly loves it.
Dominion is currently the only film in its genre out in cinemas, meaning its competition is near 0. By the end of the Summer it could be in third or forth place on the list of highest-grossing films of the year. Other highly-anticipated films are set to release this year, among them Thor 4, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and Avatar: the Way of Water, the last of which will be releasing in December of this year.
Among the film’s sales almost $400,000,000 of them came from foreign markets, while the remaining came from the U.S. Many critics and disgruntled fans alike are bothered by the continuation of the film series, with irate reviews coming out online criticizing the studio for making more films. However, as much as it may seem like a beaten horse to some, the Box Office says otherwise.
The film is only in its second week currently, and only time will tell whether or not it’s able to continue brining in sale after sale as it’s doing now.
