We now know more about how badly Jeremy Renner was injured during a snowplow accident at his home in Nevada. The Marvel star had suffered blunt trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries when his Sno-Cat ran over him.
In a 911 log obtained by TMZ, Jeremy Renner apparently suffered more injuries than was initially known. Prior to the incident, Renner had been attempting to help a family member who was stranded when his Sno-Cat began to roll. He attempted to get into the driver’s seat but was crushed by the Sno-Cat.
He is currently stable but he is still in critical condition. Renner shared a photo of himself at the hospital on Instagram, telling fans that he was still too beat up to type much, but that he was thankful for the support.
The 911 emergency log includes notes from the call and states that Jeremy was “moaning in the background of the call” and experienced heavy bleeding from his head.
He was “completely crushed” by the Sno-Cat and had “extreme difficulty” breathing. The right side of his chest had collapsed and his upper torso was crushed.
Jeremy Renner also suffered intensive bleeding from his leg. One of his neighbors had helped fashion a makeshift tourniquet to help stop the bleeding before Renner was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
Police have ruled out any foul play, stating that the incident was an unfortunate and tragic accident.
