Sony has finally revealed the release date for their new game God of War Ragnarok, and fans will be excited to hear that it’s not too far away.
The game is sequel to Santa Monica Studio’s hit 2018 God of War reboot, and exclusive game details have been revealed. All of these announcements were revealed on the PlayStation blog by the studio.
For one, the game will be launching in multiple different formats, including a standard and collector’s edition. The latter version has already been fully revealed in an unboxing video on the PlayStation blog.
Now for the nectar. Better start marking your calendars, as the game will be released on November 9, 2022 and will go up for pre-order sale on July15th.
There was also a video trailer for the game released today alongside the big announcements. The video is in CGI and serves as a strong reveal to the nature of the game, as none of it is actually gameplay.
“‘We’re thrilled [to] be able to share our release date and the brand-new God of War Ragnarok’ – Father and Son CG Trailer with all the God of War fans who have been eagerly awaiting news,” the studio behind the God of War franchise stated on their blog today.
“We hope you’ve enjoyed a glimpse at some of the dangers Kratos and Atreus could find themselves up against as Ragnarok approaches.”
