Everything Everywhere All At Once is back in theaters for a third time

Everything Everywhere All At Once is coming back to theaters after the film received 11 Academy Award Nominations, giving everyone a chance to see it for the third time since it released about a year ago.

Directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (the Daniels) shared via their official Twitter account on Thursday the news, writing: “SURPRISE! Everything Everywhere All At Once is back in theaters this weekend. Over 1K screens!?”

Everything Everywhere All At Once first premiered in March 2022 and aired again over the summer with eight minutes of bonus footage. The re-release in the summer also saw an introduction from the Daniels.

So far, Everything Everywhere All At Once has domestically grossed over $70 million and globally topped $104 million. The film is back in theaters just ahead of the Oscars after it was nominated for several awards.

In celebration of the re-run weekend, Daniel Kwan wrote on his personal twitter that everyone has a good reason to see the film, whether they “regret missing it in theaters,” “fell asleep watching it on an airplane,” or “want to hate-watch the film Cats style with your friends.

“We loved seeing all of your stories about your experience watching the film in a crowded theater and are just happy that more people might have the opportunity to share in that experience. Whether its your 1st or 31st time watching it, I hope you get something out of it.”
