Elden Ring fans are going to be excited to hear that the 2022-release is officially getting its own board game by Steamforged Games.
Steamforged are the guys behind the Dark Souls and Resident Evil board game adaptations, and they’re currently developing a board game for Elden Ring through Kickstarter. The board game will be playable up to four players and will allow them to “embark on a huge and varied adventure, visiting iconic locations and crossing paths with familiar enemies and characters.” The game will also feature dice-free combat and boss battles.
Steamforged’s co-founder, Mat Hart, said that “fans should expect a dark, richly-realised tabletop world of mystery and peril, with satisfying combat and rewarding exploration.” Not much else is known as of now but more details will release as we approach the game’s launch date.
The company is known for their impressive board-game recreations and heavily-detailed miniature figures, as you can see in the cover above. While it’s currently unknown when the game will be coming out, it is up on Kickstarter for excited fans to view and support, and as things stand has around 9700 followers.
