Dr. Jart is a popular Korean skincare brand that has a lot of people loading onto it praise every day. Alongside things like cleansers, moisturizers, and serums, Dr. Jart also offers face masks that are meant to help hydrate, firm, and more. The Dr. Jart Vital Hydra Solution Mask is one of those sheet face masks. But is it worth your money? Should you run to your nearest Sephora to grab one, or should you skip this one out?
First Impressions
The Dr. Jart Vital Hydra Solution Mask comes in minimalistic packaging with mostly white space. On the front is a soap-looking image that seems to indicate the mask is great for hydration (spoiler alert: it is!).
When you first open up the sheet mask packaging, it doesn’t have an overpowering smell at all. It smells actually clean and natural, so there’s no added perfumes or fruit smells.
For people who don’t like sheet masks that have too much scent to them, the Dr. Jart Hydra Solution Mask seems to be a great option so far.

Components of the Mask
The Hydra Solution Mask has aquaxyl and super vital complex. Additionally, it has hyaluronic acid, which is perfect for clean and crisp hydration.
The nice thing about the Dr. Jart Hyra Solution Mask is that it has no mineral oil, sulfates, and it’s hypoallergenic. This is great for people like myself who have super sensitive skin. I am pretty selective with what types of skincare products I use, because anything can irritate my skin if I’m not careful.
Thoughts and Reactions
The Hydra Solution Mask was a very nice feeling to have on my skin. It only took about 15 minutes before I needed to remove it, and you can tell that it’s got fast-action hydrating power in it.
The mask is pretty strong compared to some other sheet masks I’ve used, and it actually comes with a backing so that it doesn’t lose the moisture in it while in the package.
I actually kept whatever leftover moisturizer was in the package and use a jade roller with it to give some extra hydration to my skincare routine. Since the moisturizer is great for dry skin, there are some days where you really need to use it.
I do have oilier skin, but this mask still did me wonders. It’s recommended mainly for dry to combo skin, but honestly, I thought it worked perfectly fine for someone who has oily skin. Nothing in it irritated me or caused me to break out, which is awesome.
I think that if you’re looking for a mask that delivers on its promises, then Dr. Jart’s Hydra Solution Mask is perfect for you. It’s totally worth the $7 and has exceeded my expectations for sure!
