Doctor Who will be streaming on Disney+ outside of the UK and Ireland, with fans being able to watch new episodes on the streaming service from now on. Those still in the UK and Ireland will still have to watch Doctor Who on the BBC.
The change will come into effect starting in November 2023, when the show returns for its 60th anniversary.
Additionally, Doctor Who has gotten a new logo, which was revealed in a tweet by the official Twitter account.
Back in July, reports came out claiming that Disney+ was interested in acquiring the rights to stream future episodes of Doctor Who.
However, the old episodes of Doctor Who will not be available on Disney+. The streaming agreement is simply for new episodes.
