Famous actor Chadwick Boseman received a Posthumous Emmy Nod with the presenting of the Emmy’s Tuesday morning. His acting and voice-over in the Disney show What If? before his death lead to him receiving the Emmy.
Boseman is mostly known for his famous role in the 2018 film, Black Panther, where he starred as Black Panther himself. He continued on in this role in the Disney show which pondered, “What If… T’Challa Became a Star-Lord?”
Boseman sadly passed in late August 2020 after it was revealed that he was battling cancer. He kept the disease a secret and only spoke out about his struggles nearing the time of his death.
The show, which was his final performance, focused on possible alternate realities of Marvel superheroes. It looked deeper into the possibilities that a character could face and what would happen as a result. Boseman is being remembered today at the Emmy’s for his outstanding acting, charismatic personality, and kind heart.
