YouTube is now expanding its Super Thanks tipping tool, which will give more creators monetization features on the platform.
Super Thanks allows for viewers to send creators direct tips on videos. Last year, it was in its beta stage, but has now been unlocked to all eligible YouTube Partner creators in 68 countries. The tip amounts can vary between $2 and $50.

YouTube has several ways of monetization via interaction with fans and viewers, such as Super Chat, Super Stickers, and now Super Thanks. YouTube has previously stated that it is “always looking for fresh ways creators can diversify their revenue streams.”
For the most part, YouTube’s monetization comes from ad revenue, but many creators have expressed a lack of reliability through this monetization feature. YouTube has allowed itself to differentiate from other platforms by giving more monetization via interactions between creators and fans.
