Ubisoft will reveal more Skull & Bones gameplay this week, announcing the news just a day after delaying the pirate title for the sixth time.
Over on Twitter, the official Skull & Bones account shared information regarding the delay and what fans can look forward to seeing.
“This extra time will help us in providing further polish and balancing to our game experience, following your feedback from previous tests,” read part of the message.
Starting Friday, Ubisoft will being sharing new and exclusive gameplay for Skull & Bones on social channels. It looks like the first bit of footage will be regarding the lore of Skull & Bones.
The team did not give any indication when we can anticipate a release. Estimates place it either late 2023 or early 2024, according to the fiscal years. However, the team promised that more information would be available “very soon.”
Ubisoft announced the delay yesterday, stating that the company would restructure and change its strategy. The company wants to focus on fewer projects and has canceled three unannounced games this year after canceling four in 2022.
