The Fortnite crossover with Dragon Ball is officially here after weeks of rumors and teases. Now, fans of the hit anime franchise can add new characters to their roster in Fortnite. The crossover is one of the most expansive collaborations for Fortnite.
Fans can expect to see new weapons, maps, and rewards. Here’s everything you need to know about the Fortnite Dragon Ball Super Crossover:
The Fortnite Dragon Ball Bundles
There will of course be some skins to pick up in this crossover event. The skins will be sold in two bundles and a third gear bundle is available as well. The first bundle is of Goku, who has alternate appearances as well and Beerus. Getting this bundle unlocks the following gear:
- Seer Fish (back bling)
- Power Pole Nyoibo (pickaxe)
- Power Pole Nyoibo (back bling)
- Goku’s charging up (emote)
- Power Unleashed (loading screen)
The other bundle comes with Vegeta and Bulma. Additionally, it has alternate styles for both characters and an emote for Vegeta.
The gear bundle comes with the following items:
- Nimbus Cloud Kintoun (glider)
- Space pod (glider)
- Fusion! Hah!! (emote)
- Kamesennin’s Staff (pickaxe)
- Kamesennin’s Shell (back bling)
Fortnite Dragon Ball Events
In addition to cosmetics items, there will also be some in-game events. This includes the Dragon Ball Power Unleashed Quests. These quests will give special rewards, extra battle pass levels, and a Shenron glider to those that complete the quests and collect the Dragon Balls.
Fortnite Creative Maps will contain the Dragon Balls needed to obtain the rewards. These maps include Kami’s Palace, Goku’s House, and a few others. There is also a special cruise ship creative map where players can tune into episodes of Dragon Ball Super to enjoy.
Fortnite Versus Boards
For the Dragon Ball event, Bounty Boards have become Versus Boards. They allow for players to show an opponent’s exact location and let you go straight into combat. However, players need to opt into a Versus Board, so you won’t just be targeted by an enemy out of the blue.
