Images have seemingly leaked online showing a potential remake of Silent Hill 2 is coming. The images are reportedly from an internal pitch demo for Silent Hill 2, according to insider Dusk Golem.

Dusk Golem said that the photos are “from an internal pitch demo from Bloober before they got greenlit, so it’s literally a no-budget proof of concept thing. This isn’t actually what the final game looks like.”

According to VGC, Konami was planning to revive Silent Hill, with a remake of Silent Hill 2 in active development at The Medium developer Bloober Team. It has been reported that the Silent Hill 2 remake will be a timed PlayStation exclusive, but will also release on PC during the same time frame.

Annapurna Interactive is also reportedly working on an episodic series of Silent Hill “short stories.” Annapurna Interactive is known for its games like Sayonara Wild Hearts and Telling Lies.

Bloober Team is a Polish developer that has been working on the Silent Hill franchise for the past 18 months. It announced a “strategic co-operation agreement” with Konami last year. Bloomberg had initially reported that the studio behind The Medium was working on an existing horror IP from a “very famous gaming publisher.”
