Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as well as Warzone 2.0 has been delayed as Activision works to make several changes in response to player feedback.
Call of Duty announced the delay in a tweet, stating that Season 2 will release on February 15 instead of February 1. More time to grind the Season 1 Battle Pass if you’re behind, at least.
In the tweet, Activision said, “Our studio teams have been making several changes based on what we heard from our player community.
“Season 2 includes all community, with the return of Resurgence, a brand new small map for Warzone 2.0, and updates to the Gulag, looting, and loadouts.”
In regards to Modern Warfare 2, new multiplayer maps, modes, weapons, and Ranked Play will be coming in Season 2.
The first season of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 has been meet with criticism over bugs, glitches, false ban reports, and more.
However, many players have been enjoying the new Call of Duty title, which is the fastest-selling Call of Duty title ever released.
