Microsoft’s ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) Xbox account shared a bit of a cryptic tweet and many fans of Psychonauts are now convinced that Xbox is dropping hints about Psychonauts 3.
The tweet showed what looks like a grid layout with the letters H, S, X, Y, X, O, C, X, and P in the spaces. The account tweeted: “WHAT DOES IT MEAN?? No please seriously, someone help us out.”
If you try to decipher the letters, some fans have found that it spells PSYCHO XXX. As Eurogamer pointed out, if you assume that the word Psycho is the naughts in the naughts and crosses game, then you technically get Psychonauts when you say it aloud.
The three Xs could then be passed off as the number of the game, hence Pscyhonauts 3. It’s very possible that the team is teasing a potential remaster of the game or it could be a collection of the previous Psychonauts entires.

Either way, the Xbox Games Showcase is being hosted by Microsoft on June 11, so we have until then to speculate. It’s very possible that Xbox will announce something about Psychonauts 3 or anything related to the franchise on that day.
