According to producer, Naoki Yoshida, Final Fantasy XVI (16) will receive a trailer in October. During Tokyo Game Show 2022, FFXVI artwork was showed off, but a trailer and more information was absent. Despite this, we should expect to hear more in October with the release of the next trailer.

During the event, Yoshida was asked if new information would be releasing in the fall. Yoshida partially confirmed this after replying: “I haven’t gotten a chance to talk to the marketing or public relations team at all, so I’m not sure how much I’m allowed to say, but I think we’ll probably be able to release the next trailer next month or so.”

Yoshida followed up by saying that after the trailer’s release, we can expect to hear more information on a potential release date.

Currently, Final Fantasy XVI is due for a release on PlayStation in 2023, with the approximate time being in the summer. However, no exact date has been given.

Final Fantasy is one of the most popular video game franchises ever made and is extremely recognizable. The role-playing fantasy games are developed and published by Square Enix.

Square Enix recently made a controversial decision to start including NFTs in their games, with Final Fantasy being the first game of their lineup to receive the NFT treatment.
