EA has announced that FIFA 23 will be releasing in September. This FIFA title will mark the end of the EA-FIFA video game series. The current licensing that EA holds over the FIFA name is ending, and it will be building its own EA Sports FC brand instead.
FIFA 23 will release on September 30 for PC, Xbox, PS4, PS5, and Stadia. It will also feature women’s club teams. The women’s clubs are Barclays Women’s Super League and Division 1 Arkema. Additionally, it will introduce the women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in the post-launch updates.
EA is promising that this final title will be its biggest and most ambitious one yet. FIFA 23 will also feature cross-play functionality and what EA has described as “the next evolution of HyperMotion2 technology.” They promise a more realistic game experience.
Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 will have early access, meaning they can begin playing on September 27 instead of September 30. Additionally, pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition gives bonuses like 4,600 FIFA points and more.
EA Play Pro members can play FIFA 23 on September 27, even if they have pre-ordered the Standard Edition.
