The Dell XPS 13 is one of the flagship laptops made by the American company and is one of the most thin laptops out there. The XPS 13 Plus is the more upgraded version of the base Dell XPS 13 and includes things like higher wattage CPU support and a capacitive touch function row.
However, some of the early models of the Dell XPS 13 Plus have been facing a major issue with screens detaching. The Verge reported on the issue yesterday, revealing that Dell XPS 13 Plus laptops with OLED screens are having issues with the adhesive used to keep the screens attached.
A video has circulated online showing a screen falling off in a Best Buy demo area (incorrectly labeled as the XPS 15). Other users have reported the XPS 13 Plus screens to be dying with the screen displaying strange colors and even touchscreen functionality loss.
It looks like Dell is recalling units, but it is not clear if the recall is related to the screen issue alone. It looks like non-OLED models are not facing such issues.
