The Dead Space remake will have an alternate ending

It looks like the Dead Space remake that launches January 27 is actually going to have an alternate ending. Interestingly enough, the information was found out from a list of achievements on True Trophies about the Dead Space remake.

Not much is known about what the alternate ending is going to be, but the achievements basically hints that there is another way to end the story.

The achievement is called Reunion and what you have to do to earn it is to “see the alternate ending on any difficulty mode.” That doesn’t really explain much, so you’ll just have to figure out what it means when you play the game yourself.

The Dead Space remake has some pretty cool information about it that we already know. Firstly, EA Motive is working to make the game “one sequential shot.” What this means is that you’re not going to have to deal with loading screens. That’s honestly very ambitious and it sounds absolutely amazing. I think everyone can relate to the frustration of having loading screens constantly in our faces.

Throughout the game, Necromorph enemies are set to pop up randomly as you explore the USG Ishimura. There will also be some creepy environmental effects that adjust as you play. EA Motive is promising to add unexpected things as well to keep the game more exciting.

So, although it is a remake of the 2008 Dead Space, it should prove to have some extra features that make the game worth your while.

The Dead Space remake is available for preorder right now. It will release on Steam, Epic Games, and Origin/the EA app for $60. If you pre-order the title on Steam, you will get a copy of Dead Space 2 for free as well.
