CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a DLC based on the Cyberpunk Edgerunners Netflix series today. The announcement was made during the Night City Wire livestream today.
The DLC is set to be a story-focused expansion that will allow players to take on the role of a protagonist from Edgerunners called David Martinez. The story will take place alongside the events of Cyberpunk 2077.
The update will alos be the final major update for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One editions of Cyberpunk 2077, with it acting as Patch 1.6.
CD Projekt Red also confirmed that the first major expansion will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles only.
The DLC is titled Phantom Liberty and will showcase V as they pledge allegiance to the New United States of America. Johnny Silverhand has been confirmed to return in the DLC as well.
