Christian Bale, a former Batman actor in the Dark Knight trilogy, directed by Christopher Nolan, is one of the few Hollywood actors who has yet to see Matt Reeve’s Batman.
Bale told Variety Magazine “I still haven’t seen it, I will see it. Listen mate, it’s amazing how few films I see. Every director I work with, I’ve seen a couple of films and they’re always looking at me going, ‘are you kidding?’. I like to really savour films and I don’t want too many. But I certainly will.”
This of course, was followed by a large gasp of shock from the crowd around him. The film, which stars actor Robert Pattinson as the bat-themed vigilante, had a much darker, moodier take than Batman movies prior, something many fans noted and liked about it. The movie has made close to $800 million in the box office thus far.
Bale also apparently had bumped into Pattinson at one point during the shooting of the film and explained to him how the role and batman suit work, as well as how to go to the bathroom in the suit.
